In Horror Tale 2: Samantha, you’ll be attempting to break Samantha out of jail from the terrifying ending of Horror Tale 1: Kidnapper. You must find out the kidnapper’s plans. As you make your way through the game, you will run into enigmas, terrifying situations, surprising twists, and excitement.

In Horror Tale 2: Samantha, the kids of Lakewich have been vanishing without a trace, giving this sequel a very interesting yet puzzling development. You and Samantha have found yourselves locked up in a real prison while doing your research so you will both need to find a good and quick way to get out of there and survive the horrors.

The only way out is to figure out how to get through all of the obstacles that are in your way, whether they come in the form of puzzles, riddles, terrifying circumstances, or even some humorous moments. In order to acquire the required evidence and, of course, the hints, you will need to travel to each of the five locations in-game.

However, the game is not without its flaws. For instance, sometimes the game doesn't launch immediately, and other times, it doesn't launch at all. Furthermore, there are times when it lags horribly and the character's walking speed suddenly drops badly, which causes the kidnapper to catch you. Other than that, the game and mechanics look good, as well as the plot with each of its characters.

Scary but fun

Horror Tale 2: Samantha is an overall scary game that is also entertaining and interesting to play. It does, however, suffer from a few bugs here and there, which can occasionally detract from your overall experience with the game. Those who enjoy horror, escape games, and the challenge of putting together puzzles should give it a go and try it out.
